Wow! We picked this one up at the library, based solely on the cover and were delighted. My son thought the speed lines on the motor bike were hilarious, and I was snagged by the hamster. (I'm a sucker for rodentia!) It's a fantastic read. I loved Pye, who never talks down to his son. It's intelligent, cute, harrowing and funny.
Paired with The Science of Interstellar, by Kip Thorne, and you've got some excellent lessons on Einstein's theory of relativity!
