Teens are always attracted to the forbidden, like moths to a light, so when you learn that Avery's grandmother has forbidden her to go into Hilliard House, well...it's just a matter of time before she does, right?
But she's bullied into it by aspiring film maker and visiting teen, Julian, who uses his little sister as a pawn to set up scary scenes and capture Avery's fear on film. They inadvertently awaken the real ghost, who is angry at how he was mistreated in life (I won't say how or why -- that would spoil the read!).
A spine tingling read!
