Here's your holiday gift, from me to you.
25 book reviews in 25 days!
Every day, starting Dec. 1 through Dec. 25, I will post a new book review in Holiday Picks. Each review will touch on at least one book, up to as many as three (usually in a series).
I highly recommend each and every one for your private bookshelf, under the tree, or your middle school classroom library. Buy one and gift it to your child's English teacher. Buy one for your child's best friend and have it shipped direct to their house. Or just buy, read and hold on for your own enjoyment or as a writing mentor text. A few this year are meant for older teens and will be added to the YA Books list, as well.
I'm reviewing across genres, with no focus on any particular theme this year. Some are older, but authors appreciate it when you purchase their backlist books, too. There are the usual tear-jerkers, sci-fi, fantasies and mysteries. There's something to interest every young adult or middle grade reader, I guarantee, and a few adults, as well. Each book features a link to its Amazon purchase page.
These books are the best of the best that I've read so far this year, and I've been saving their reviews for you.
Enjoy and happy holidays!
