Sunny has a foggy, anesthesia-induced dream that a mermaid visits her in the hospital, but we all know, it's not a mermaid ... it's her mom, who wants back into her life. But can Sunny trust her?
Once she gets the new heart, there's the New Life list to fulfill -- which includes making and keeping -- a new best friend and finding a boy to kiss her. But the funny thing about dying, even in a heart-transplant operation where it's planned and you don't really die, your priorities change.
