This is a fast-paced, rollicking romp that follows 7th graders Jack, dodge-ball bully T-Bex (Becka) and Ari through the galaxy on an unexpected jump to light speed, incarceration for a parking ticket and subsequent rescue of all their classmates from jail.
The PSS (Public School Spaceship)-118 normally just orbits Ganymede, but one day is thrust into light-speed and Jack and his two friends encounter the Elvidians and the sinister "Minister," who put the entire human race into "Quarantine" -- and poof! They're gone.
I won't spoil the ending, just know, a sequel is clearly in the works.
A great read, one my 14-year-old loved!
