Another "mark your calendar" writing post, because I don't do Writing posts in June / July. Instead, I do Summer Sci-Fi/Fantasy Readapalooza middle grade and young adult recommendations both months, because Summer Reading should be out of this world.
For a whopping $10 it's a steal, and for $20 you can access the recordings of the events (which is generally how I do it) for up to three weeks afterward and watch / take notes at your leisure. This is a bit more expensive than last year (which only cost $15 for the same after-access) but… inflation, I guess?
This is one of the better writing conferences to have on your radar, as, depending on who's giving the talk, you kinda can't beat it for $20. All you need is one craft session, one author talk, worth the $20 and you're golden. I've paid hundreds for national writing association conferences that were less useful, for sure!
The final roster of speakers / schedule of events is listed now, so cruise through them to find a speaker or a topic you want /need to hear. It's worth the $10 or $20, whichever you choose to pay.
Good luck!
