If Penguins Could Fly...

Lion Down, a Fun Jungle novel, by Stuart Gibbs

· MG Books
Lion Down, by Stuart Gibbs

Stuart Gibbs does it again, with our all-time favorite MG mystery series, Fun Jungle, featuring Teddy and Summer. The opening scene of Lion Down made us laugh so hard we ... well, let's just say, whoever was reading the book had to rush to the restroom! It was that good. It involves a water cannon, a prodigious amount of frozen fish, a small penguin and the main sleuth and our favorite character, Teddy. Absolutely hilarious.

A mountain lion has made a Fun Jungle addition part of her territory, and when an offensive radio announcer's dog on a neighboring property is apparently eaten, it's "open season" on her. Will Teddy and Summer be able to save her?

Hint: Watch for Pete Thwacker's reaction at the end. It's priceless, if you've ever been a member of the media or PR professions (better even than when he tried to "sell" elephant stampedes as zoo attractions!).

We recommend buying this one. It's going to get read over and over and over!
