...the more eyes you can have on your submission packet materials, the better your chances. Like everything in writing, sometimes we're too close to the matter / text to spot deficiencies.

Which is why I love my Inked Voices subscription! I'm in a fantastic PW submission materials preparation group, and have found some really talented, amazing writers there. We've been preparing our submission packets since the start of the month.

At a minimum you need to polish your:

• First 10 Pages
• Query Letter
• Synopsis
• Pitch

Let me know if you're planning on entering your MS, and I'll root for you! I'm entering Dragon Scales, my newest, which is still somewhat rough (only two beta readers thus far, but feedback is generally positive, much better than for Dragon's Leap!!), but I'm cautiously optimistic.
