So, today I judged my son's middle school science fair entries. This title of a project eloquently illustrates the difference between MG and YA audiences:
"Should you pee in your worm bin?"There's a prevalence of potty humor in good MG writing that fades away in YA.
A perennial favorite in our household, that I fervently wish would disappear under a couch cushion never to be seen again, is Sir Fartsalot.
