Rate Your Story is another pay-for-membership author-critique service, much like Inked Voices but slightly different in that it runs contests for its members, which, to my knowledge, IV does not.
Once a year it holds an annual contest open to non-members. Now, because I already pay for IV and I'm super-duper happy there, the prizes -- an annual membership, worth almost $200 -- weren't quite as attractive as it may be to writers looking for critique partners. (If that's you, you might be interested.)
So, definitely something to consider, although the annual contest costs $15 for non-members to enter.
The contest for 2020 is closed (closed at the end of August). But you could put it on your calendar for August of 2021. I may wait and see what I can accomplish with Dragon Scales, my latest MS, for free, first. But it's nice to have inexpensive options, right?
Another feature of this contest is that a percentage of the proceeds go to a charitable organization. In 2020 it was We Need Diverse Books, which has its own mentorship program, and The Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).
