A Full 24-Hours on Mars

The Last Day on Mars and The Oceans Between Stars, by Kevin Emerson

· MG Books

About mid-way through this book, my son declared: "It's going to end on a cliff-hangar, isn't it? Isn't it, Mom? There's no way they can resolve this in 24-hours!"

He loved it, counting down the hours chapter-by-chapter, and had to show me when it skips 7 hours or so. He put the next book on hold at the library.

He loved it! If you've watched the Netflix series, Lost in Space, it has the same "natural disaster of the week" to survive feel, with a hint of something more sinister in the works.

There's a third planned, and my son can't wait for it! This is science fiction done right.
