When I've caught up with the library's new arrivals, I start pulling titles from the shelves, and inevitably discover some "oldies but goodies."
The first features a girl who goes on a hunt with dragon slayers, only to be turned into a dragon, for a short time.
The second one features a girl and a prince who return a dragon's egg to the hatching grounds, and in the process re-establish trust between dragon and mankind.
The third was significantly below the reading level of my two kiddos. It's a third in a series about a veterinarian of imaginary animals. An intriguing concept!
Unfortunately, our library no longer owns the fourth book, pictured here, so I haven't read it. But I did read books 2-4, and backward. The final book reveals the purpose of the Dragoneye, a stone that features prominently throughout the chronicles.
